Apple Watch Complications

As Ward and others know, historically, mechanical watch features have been referred to a complications of the design.

Standing outside the Apple Store here is Venice Italy, I was amused to note they refer to software features of the Apple Watch as complications. I would think most Apple Watch buyers would not be familiar with that terminology... except maybe in the NE of Italy?

Paul, working on my Italian vocabulary mode

I listen to a couple of Apple technology related podcasts. Often, when they talk about the Apple watch, they use the term "complications." I was not familiar with the term, but figured it out from context.

It appears Apple also uses the term in some of their support documentation.

After 2.5 weeks on the Great Lakes, we returned home for a week of laundry and repacking!

The nephew is feeling abandoned, but he keeps cashing the checks...

:-)
