Morgan is finally putting up a commercial site for her artwork, any thoughts on a good provider for ecommerce stuff?

I've done some stuff with GoDaddy - their support people actually have a clue, and the prices aren't bad. Lots of different packages available.

I've used both Go Daddy and 1&1 with no complaints.

What annoyed me about GoDaddy was their never-ending upsell pitches for stuff
you don't need.

The last straw for me was a picture of their CEO, Parsons, standing over the
dead elephant he had just shot.

If you don't need a web designer, this is the company I use for web and
email. Their prices are right. How-to support is on you. Issues and
questions and help with their services is excellent.

The only hassles I get are from my credit card provider when I pay the annual
bill. They don't believe the name "Packetderm, LLC".

I've been with them for more than a decade.

Squarespace gets good marks, and has excellent and beautiful web design templates.

Scott, Mase, Ray, John,

Thanks for the info.

I've heard anecdotal good things about GoDaddy providing good service, though it seem they skew towards the personal site end of things.

I looked at Cotse before I posted, from Ray's previous good thoughts, but while Morgan and her husband are very smart folks (he'd fit in well here, upper level tech guy at Sharp), support on the tech stuff will be a priority for the ecommerce deal.

SquareSpace looks interesting, though they've got the design side covered (he's an accomplished artist as well), but it's a great *looking* site. Liked the details on services offered also.

Thanks again to all, have passed all the info to them, when the site is up, I'll post.

A gallery snapshot of one aspect of Morgan's work (previously sold):
