New Engines for the B-52
      #446014 - 12/19/17 09:57 PM

The B-52 is to get new engines. The article talks about lasting through 2050. I guess the B-52 has certainly withstood the test of time. :)

17 years to re-engine 62 airplanes?

Hell, it took 17 years to go from initial design to making all of the airplanes. By modern standards, it should have taken about sixty years.
