Soft Landings
      #443343 - 09/30/17 11:17 PM

Well our company, both airlines, instituted a new program.
Soft Landings allows former 121 pilots to bring their former seniority up to 10 years at a 121 carrier.
Let's say you had 8 years at a 121 carrier iin the past and can produce the docs to show it, you start at 8 Year FO Pay and after a certain quick upgrade, will be earning 9 year Captain Pay after a year online and upgrade.

There are all kinds of signing bonuses as well.

If you once flew for the airlines, and for some reason were furloughed or decided to leave the industry, if you want back in NOW is an excellent time for regional pilots.

And even with active, overactive recruiting and referral bonuses being paid, it still looks like pay is going to be raised once again.

Is the pay tremendous? No.
Will it be a ton better than entering the industry as a regional First Officer making 25K a year just as it was a few years ago? Yes.
Looking like most are now paying 50K first year with bonuses to start.

If you have any questions about regional flying and lifestyle, please contact me via message or leave questions here.

USA Today said, people over 50 are calmer.
