Best quad copter controller??
      #431907 - 10/23/16 08:42 PM

Buddy is asking brand and model of best quad copter controller.

He typically competes and races several sizes.

Thanks in advance.

I replied over on FaceBook. Long story short - everyone I know sticks with one controller (transmitter) for all their RC flying.

"Best" is hard to define. Really depends what you want out of a transmitter. Also, since many transmitters only work with certain receivers, once you've started down a path, it can be expensive and time-consuming to switch.

Exactly. Like in other areas, they want you to buy into their system, as you are locked in.

I am a JR/Spektrum household.

Chuckle, dunno 'bout "best", most of the guys I talk with down at the local coffeeshop seem to prefer either the Mossberg or Stevens 12 gauge. <g>
