Yes, you too can enjoy a full-motion 737-200 flight sim at the Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta.

Russell -- Do they sell block time? Throw in a CFI and they'd probably have a cheaper route to the required sim time for the new ATP than at FlightSafety.

No idea. But they might well be open to the idea. Looking at the schedule, there's a lot of open time in the next few days, so it's not like they're super busy.

They seem to make sure that the 12PM lunch break is observed without fail.

USAir was slammed with training, so we went down to Atlanta for my 737-200 initial. That's the sim I got my first 737 rating in, so it's got some historic value.

My flying partner and I were both doing well, so the instructor would just step out and call his wife while we were doing approaches, etc.

So, how old do you have to be to be considered "Historic". I think I may be getting close. ( really historic is the 1049G sim I got 3 hours in down on 36th st. Miami. ) I drove by there the other day, and I think the building may still be there....certainly no Sim.
