`I have and older simulator. "a Precise Flight Controls CAT II system" I had been using software from Elite but it is about 7 years old and would like to replace it with some modern software. What do you all recommend?

Thanks in advance

Dick

I'd be interested to here what folks are currently using/recommending.

While you are kicking tires, go and download a version of X-Plane.

It's the last thing I used. It looks great, but was a bit complex.

Dick,

You might want to look at this software from Precision Flight Controls . I do not know about the price, but might be worth a call to see if it will work with your system. I have noticed they also use FSX/X-Plane on some of their systems.

The new player on the block is Lockheed-Martin and their Prepar3d. I have been thinking about switching to them. They are now working on a 64-bit version. LM is using platform for their commercial simulations they sell. It is very similar to FSX with a lot of FSX add-ons being compatible.

I don't know a lot about X-plane.
