SLLP is one of my favorite airports. Its a 13,000 foot runway at 13,000 msl. I seem to always arive in the afternoon with TSMs and rain. On approach there is always icing, wind shear on final and a crosswind to a wet runway. The cabin pressuraziation always seems confused. At MGLW Vref is about 160KIAS so all the runway is needed. The approach is an 8 DME arc from the north to an ILS RWY10 final . A pretty tight turn considering the altitude on the arc is 15,000 when turning to final.

Hopefully Randy will see this and tell us some stories about DC-6s into SLLP. :))
