'Ratz:
N3682B is a 1954 BE50 that has been lovingly restored by airline captain and around-the-world flyer (among other things) Francisco Agullo. Last weekend was good flying in Switzerland, and he joined up with Cirrus pilot Patrick Dupont and fellow pilot and photographer Patrick Allenbach for some formation work.
It's a very good thing that airplane is not in the US, and SWMBO hates the color red for airplanes or I'd be in deep trouble trying to get that bird! <BG>

Right now, US registration is permitted in the EU; it's mainly a huge thing to do with draconian registration taxation and other equipment issues, as the anti-GA mindset in all of Europe postulates that all aircraft should be Part 121-type big passenger jets or none at all. And it's about to get worse, with Eurocrats calling for some fairly stringent EU licensing requirements for pilots.

Actually, that's a two-layered reference. Rumpole got the term from She, H. Rider Haggard's classic Victorian bodice-ripper novel about the beautiful, immortal white queen of a mysterious people in Africa.
It may hold a record for the number of times it's been made into a movie: at least eight. The most recent one made in English starred Ursula Andress.

Concur, made me giggle a little bit, thinking back to how we used to needle Rex Johnson at LBB, who flew Roy Furr's (Furr's Cafeterias) new TwinBo about having his co-pilot sit in the middle seat (throw-over yoke). This one doesn't do that, looks like?
