Update.
Sold the Baron.
Currently without plane. We are moving next month to South Louisiana (about a 4-hour drive from here). After we get everything moved and settled in, I'll begin looking for a good A36.

Get tired of "twice the motors, thrice the costs?" <BG> Agree on the A36; there are moments when I look back to about this time in 2005 and I wonder, for moment, "what if I'd actually listened to Tom and George?" Oh well, can't change the past.

Aside from that (and that certainly >WASN'T< intended at a dig at Dr. Walt) you have the highest quality service possible available for your bird right there in Duluth, as well as the latest and greatest gadgets to play with on the panel.

As Tom alluded to, I wound up buying a brand-new 2006 Cirrus. An airplane I love unconditionally 29 out of 30 days a month. The day I write the loan check? Uh, maybe not so much. <BG>
But I have two incredible mechanics and let's say I know where parts are. (Well, I used to, Cirrus sold their parts inventory to a distributor to stay afloat)

Walter moved to Vail, CO.
We are moving to the North Shore (of Lake Pontchartrain) to be closer to our son, daughter-in-law, and new grand daughter.
Packing is a stone cold b***h.
Yeah, I've gotten over the twin flu after having three of them.
Sure do miss the plane, though. Had to go to Grand Island, NE, a few weeks ago. 12 hours door-to-door on the airlines. Four hours flight time in the Bonanza. Ugh.

Have not sold the house, but we are moving nonetheless. We close on a house in Covington, LA, next week.
Wanted to get closer to the hurricanes, you know. <g>
