Guy got permission to attach a HD cam looking aft on the nose gear. View it in HD if you can, it goes from push-back to take off, then from NLG extension (I did not know it came out as a speed brake well ahead of the MLG) to landing in Marberg.
Great vid!

Thanks Andy
I don't recall ever using just the nose gear as an additional flying drag before the main gear on the B-747.
Perhaps the flight crew did some trick stuff with the landing gear controls to allow the nose gear and the camera to have more time.
Sure does show the many trailing edge flaps on the whale.

Dux from rainy Tucson -sunshine this afternoon I've been told

Tom -- From the comments, I took that the keyword on the video refers to the -380 in the background.

I saw the A-380 on the ramp shortly after the "Air France A-380" text popped up in the video, but I took the text to be an extension of the description of the flight.
Could go either way and I certainly saw nothing that revealed the true type of the camera carrier.
REGARDLESS, it IS a cool video.

The LE flaps and the landing lights belong to a 747.

Slightly related: On a flight from Cape Town to Frankfurt on a South African Airlines A-340 I spent much of the time watching the tail-mounted camera channel on the inflight entertainment system. Better than any of the movies! Looked a bit like this...only on the top and looking forward!
