Her name was Dawna. Prior to making her acquaintance in San Berdoo (hmmm, another Hilton/Smuggler's Inn) I'd thought only some of my band mates and such were sociopaths. Live and learn. Never figured her out, soul harvesting comes to mind though. Who gets on an airplane to Ohio in winter to sing 'Hello, it's me' to ya? The other thing about her, stone cold beautiful, outa my league. Shoulda been a hint I guess ;-) I lived, I learned, eventually...

LOL, no, he was the keyboard player, who, technically, wasn't in that band, modestly named Sabu, for the main guy (far left), Paul Sabu. Not sure why he was in the picture, then again, I can't remember his name either...;-)
EDIT My usual backwards speak, can't recall the keyboard player's name, the others, yes ;-)

Funny thing about posts, and extreme thread drift. Got to thinking about that woman that I was semi joking about, Dawna. Remembered her last name, which of course I can't post, but dang, if only I could. She's not a celebrity type, unless Maury featured her, it's just priceless (no, that's not her last name). Not sure what her momma was thinking, the older I get, the more I think some sorta license should be required for parenthood ;-)
Anyways, reading what I wrote about her, golly, I didn't even get close to what that deal was. I used to wonder why friends are still somewhat surprised that I'm still walkin' and tawkin. Dawna, others similar, other stuff too, maybe I see their point now. Gotta get some sleep, don't wanna miss the Early Bird special at the diner. Oh c***, it's barely today <G> Did I mention that she actually did sing 'Hello, it's me' when she called from CMH?
