Wowee!

As some of you may know, I am trying to help friends sell an airstrip in Tennessee. I created a website to help market it.

With the website, I attached "Google Analytic s" a service that pretty much spies on anyone who visits. Let's me know what refereed them to the site.

Lo & behold, Beechtalk is mentioned. Well, I didn't put a posting there so I was curious. I stopped by and found that someone is talking about the place! I have recently joined, so that I can see who the kind soul was.

What a hoot.

I agree, Mase. Thanks!

So far I have had 3 actual human beings stop by and view the property. Today was one that the owner almost let slip by. Woman called and said that she had a similar place about an hour NORTH of Nashville. Friend blew it off, thinking it was just a lookey-loo. I thought that maybe it wasn't, so he gave me the phone number and I called the woman.

Seems they are unhappy with their 1 hour North of Nashville place. It's becoming too crowded for them.

Who knows, they did visit today. Now, it's just a waiting game.

I hate waiting. Patience is not one of my best qualities.

Tina -- Beechtalk is a nice forum, with some help from Tom G in getting it
going. Walt and Stan are there, too, as well as other of our friends.
There's a wonderful thread there, now, extolling the sins of Stan a/k/a EFI.
Funny, like many of their posts here in past threads.

Glad you're getting the exposure there. They are good people.

Tina,

Do you know the property's radial/distance from SYI? I was doing tough-and-goes at SYI yesterday and was wondering where it was.

yrraL, there is a lat/long on AIRNAV for the field and it also says it is on the Atlanta sectional.

It also give this radial/distance from the BNA VOR:

BNAr163/29.9 NASHVILLE VORTAC 114.10 02W

And from Shelbyville:
SYIr341/6.7 SHELBYVILLE VOR/DME 109.00 01W

My pleasure. Now that you have those coordinates it would be easy to create your own instrument approach with GPS. I fully expect you to be putting in a bid on the property in the near future <G>.

This is where our money for the A-36 went. Also in Tennessee, 04TN.
