Jay, if you see Watts Humphries, tell him Dick Bevier's wife died last week
at 81. Dick died a year ago. He had been confined to a secure nursing home
for many years, suffering from a violent Alzheimer's disease. He deserved so
much better. The finest manager I ever worked for.

I had never been to the Beech site.

Amazing stuff you can learn there....

Did you see that Dave S. used to have a 64 409 Chevy..!

( Dave, I had a friend with a 63 '09, when the song came on,"She's real fine my 409", you didn't want to be in the car with him....I can still hear the sound of those 2 "C" series AFBs..!BWWWOOOOOoooooo)

That was a heck of a car Jeff! Wish I would have taken better care of it <g>, Unfortunately, at the time, I just wasn't doing well and couldn't properly take care of it.

Black with bucket seats and four speed. Will always remember that one.

Ran a friend with a GTO one night who didn't believe I had an '09! We ran gear for gear up to about 90. What a kick.

That was one problem with it; folks always wanted to see how fast it was and I was too accommodating. Got a few tickets and couldn't afford the money or trouble that came with them.

Went in the Army; sold the car and didn't need one for awhile.

Best,

Dave

That ch. 9 on United is really great! Copied a discussion about the op specs
for United and Southwest (600 and 700 RVR respectively).

Wilco. I see his boss, Paul Nielsen, quite a bit because we are on the same
NRC panel at the moment.

SWA does it hand-flown with a HUD. That must look iinteresting from the F/O's seat--which doesn't have a HUD!
