Cole -- This Cutlass was great. The other two, not so much.

What we skipped was the FOI material (already covered in detail on the -I initial) and the instrument work for the -A (per the PTS). The DPE must otherwise just have been sick of me droning on in the briefing room so he moved my teaching demos from the ground to the airplane during flight.

Way to go, Scott.

Now you can start making the big bucks!

Gil -- After the practical I started livin' the dream immediately (lunch at Chick-Fil-A).

I'm happy to report

Congratz and that photo of that retractible made me recall one time out at Chino when I needed to get over to Palm Springs to do something or other. Hinton had one of them sitting there on the ramp and Steverino sez "Well Randy, take that Cessna out there and go on over". I noticed some red hydraulic fluid around the gear deal on the floor and Steve sez to me "Yeah, it leaks a little bit, just a minute and I'll show you how to run the gear on it". I sez "Sterevarino, tell'ya what, don't bother, I'll just leave the gear down like a 182 and we won't have to worry about ever having to manually extend it".

Anyhow, congratz!

best, randy

Thanks, Randy. Good choice, fluid on floor = keep gear down. Some guys carry canes to try to pull the mlg from in trail to locked in the event of no fluid.

There was one story where they peed in a container to fill the reservoir, it worked.

Maybe in a couple of years, Terry. I'm all done with practical tests for a while!
