Thanksgiving turkey recipe?
      #223419 - 11/18/08 04:49 PM

Hi all,

I haven't been around for a while, came back because the BEST turkey recipe I ever had for Thanksgiving came from here, at least 7-8 years ago. Unfortunately, I can't find my copy any more!

Does anyone still have a copy of that?

Thanks in advance!

-Gary-

Gary,

Don't have your recipe, but it was a pleasant surprise to you back. How've you been? Hope life's been treating you well.

Best,

Bob

That would be Jimmy J Johnson's turkey recipe with the Chestnuts and Madeira wine. I'm searching my hard drive for it as I type, but if it's not there, I'll PM his E-mail address and you can ask him for a copy yourownself.

Hey Bob,

Thanks, appreciate it! Life has actually been treating me pretty well of late. Haven't flown in about 3 years now, which is a lot of why I haven't been around here, but kinda hoping that 2009 may see the end to that drought.

After working for 3 little tech companies in a row which all turned out to be run by folks without a lot of personal integrity, I found a great company almost 3 years ago, and am doing great there in sales management. Sales pipeline still looks very good, despite the current economic chaos.

Personally, after being alone for almost 7 years, I met a wonderful gal a few months ago, and we're in the process of moving in together now. She's not a pilot, but has always wanted to get her license.

So, I have lots to be thankful for this holiday season.

Hope life's been treating you well too!

-Gary-

Gary,

Happy to see that both business and your personal life seem to be flourishing.

Not too much new for me in the last few years. Moved back home to NY, started a new business, got a few years older, a few more gray hairs & aches and pains, coaching my son's little league and ice hockey teams, haven't flown in 3 years but hoping to end that drought soon, and that's about it.

Hey, what's this "Public Guest" stuff?

--------------------
Best,

Bob

G - Nice to see you pop up on here, as John'd said, that one was from one of the Deltoids, Jimmy J. If you can't get it, lem'me know and I'll go hunt backwards here.

best, randy

No luck finding the recipe on my hard drive. I sent you JimmyJ's E-mail address via Private Message.

Jimmy J is a 757 Captain for Delta these days. My family flew on one of his flights from ATL==>SLC back in August.

John - Yup, I'd read(red) your messge about Jimmy J. back then. Also, meant to tell you, talk on the phone every now'n'again to "Junior" Manno. Busy also.

best, randy
