Where are you off to in that 777?

BTW, disarm LNAV. Tower will give you a heading to fly on the departure. Expect vectors to join the SID.

And you need the AML300/11 in the FIX page for the engine-out procedure.

Back to KDFW. Thanks for the tips. :))

The B777 is so automated that it's not near as much fun to fly as the MD-11 or our favorite the B737. :)

Is that on-board RADAR displaying that big red area ahead? Have the tilt full up for departure?

That IS the onboard radar but the picture is cut off right at the point where the radar modes are displayed. It looks like it's in the AUTO mode, though, by the way the cells are displayed.
